OK, with not much to say, I just would like to announce a couple of things:
First: I’m working very hard on Pumo Mines project, it’s far away from being abandoned. 
Second: I’ve updated this blog to a newer WordPress version and added a couple of nice stuff here and there, like a Facebook ‘like’ button for each post, some sharing buttons for other social sites, and a ‘Follow >’ sidebar with my DeviantArt, Youtube and Twitter sites, as well as easy RSS subscription. Also you can now post comments easily, without waiting for any approval, so start commenting! 
Third: I’ve made a partnership with KakHome, a nice Descenter fellow who recently opened a Blog dedicated to Classic Descent 1 and 2 Single-player mission reviews, although you may find from time to time some other Descent-related stuff on there.
Both of us (KakHome and Me) are the writers of the articles there, so I really hope you will like our shared blog. This is the URL for it:

OK, here is another small update to Pumo Mines at last!
I’ve finally finished the first ‘block’ of Level 4 (the level is divided into two sections: A mine, and a tech facility). The entire mine is finally done and i’ve also made my way up to the terrain, from where you can access the second section.

As some may already know, Darkflamewolf (as well as co-authors of Descent Vignettes mission like Sirius and me that made a couple of levels for it) are working along with G1M2 and Interplay to get Descent Vignettes mission included in the upcoming Descent 1 release for the WiiWare (http://www.interplay.com/games/comingsoon.php).
Well, Alter-Fox and I made some songs for the soundtrack and I would like show here one of the songs I made for it! (It was originally a MIDI file I composed, but for putting it in the Wii I re-mastered it with new synth sounds and hi-quality stuff).

I’ve just released an add-on soundtrack for use on D1X-Rebirth using original Descent 1 MIDI sountrack as it sounded on a good old OPL3 FM synth chip card (like the Sound Blaster 16 and some other old-school cards). I recorded it using the Dos-Box OPL3 chip emulator (very good one, BTW).
This add-on pack is ready to use in rebirth.
You just need to place the zip file on your main D1X-Rebirth directory and be sure to enable built-in/add-on music and that’s all.

Pumo Mines Kartsal Motivation has a ship called Orbit XC. It’s balanced and has the standard features similar to a Pyro GX.
Well, now it’s time to add more ships to Pumo Mines (hopefully, for each MD throughout the story).
Frustikus (A very kind user from the D2X-XL community) is making the ‘heavy’ ship 3D model for Pumo Mines. That is, the more powerful but slower ship than the Orbit XC.

I think he’s doing an excellent work. Now we’re working together to check details and add extra features to the model to make it even better
The idea (if D2X-XL programmer can implement it) is to change the ship used (light/standard/heavy) according to the mission story on each level.
